Write a 250- to 350-word essay comparing Klimt’s image to Rodin's statue The Kiss and/or Munch's painting The Kiss.

Answer :

Answer:

hello love,

Explanation:

Both Gustave Klimt and Edward Munch display two people kissing. Although one is a statue and the other an oil painting on a canvas, much's painting depicts a couple surrounded by darkness with only a sliver of light shining through an opening in the curtain. they seem to merge into each other as their faces became one in the painting. in contrast to Gustave's painting, the images are relatively clear and separate, and due to it being a sculpture it does not have a background like munch's painting the kiss. while Gustave's statue is primarily one color, Edwards is a mix of many different colors and tones. Due to Edward long list of health issues he never married, thus the painting was made when Edward was sad and was meant to show the love that he never got the chance to experience. While Edward was painting about the love that he yearned for, Gustave made a statue for the girl that people have said he'd only ever met once at the Beethoven exhibit. He was so fascinated by her he made multiple works of art featuring her. In conclusion, both of the works of art are beautiful and carry sentimental value to them, just one was made from sadness while the other made from a fascination to a beautiful woman in his eyes.
