The question isn't very clear... I don't know if you need the extra info that isn't necessary if you just want to find the height of the ocean liner or what info is missing that you need to find its height.
I'll answer both ( I think you need the first though)
The extra info that is given and you don't need to find the height of the liner is the amount of stairs in the lighthouse. Its useless.
And for the second one.. there isn't really any extra info you need. Everything is there. To find the height of the liner all you have to do is multiply the height of the lighthouse by 3 since the liner is 3x taller.
