Teachers should really think about the amount of math
homework they assign to their students. All types of
learners hate homework. If a student already knows how
to work the math, why do they need to practice it over
and over? And, students who don't get it" in class end up
practicing incorrectly over and over, leading to an
extreme dislike for school. I think requiring just a few
practice problems is more appropriate for students.
It suggests that everyone is good at math already.
It implies that teachers do not understand students.
It forgets that students can ask for help with
homework.
It ignores the fact that some learners might like or
