Answer:

America in today's society does not share the same spirit today. The spirit instilled by Winston Churchill to the people of the United Kingdom is that of loyalty to country, and protection of the traditional ideals of the "free world".  The United States, in today's society, does not follow the same spirit today, particularly in today's administration.

This is especially exemplified by the standard foreign policy implemented by the current administration, in failing to protect the United States and her policies. For example, the current administration initiated a botched withdrawal in Afghanistan, which led to a power vacuum in the Middle East, and the complete renewal of the Taliban, a paramilitary terrorist group. While the withdrawal may be justified, it is the application of how the withdrawal occurred that goes against the spirit of Winston Churchill. The United States was tired of finding endless wars in which there was no clear policy in what was supposed to be accomplished.

However, the most important ideal submitted by Churchill's speech is the instilling of nationalistic pride and the calling to the ideals held by the country's history. In today's particular administration, the traditional ideals are not upheld, but rather shunned for unnatural policies that, rather than justified by results, is justified by personal feelings. America, as such, does not have the same spirit instilled by Winston Churchill in World War II, and instead can be seen as a clear contrast to what Churchill wished the British people to have in their trying times.
